Well, I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later... the story goes as this: We had just returned home from a birthday party which had an inflatable water slide... As usual, I put up a fight to get the girls off of it . When we returned home Trinity disappeared to somewhere in the house. After her missing in action for a few minutes, I knew she had to be up to something. And YES ... she was. Trying to get the 'glob' of bubble gum out of the front of her hair. Yes, she had put a whole piece of 'chewed' bubble gum in the front of her hair! And in trying to get it out, she only made it worse! But her explanation made no sense at all. When asking her the reason she would put gum in her hair she replied," I didn't want to get off the slide and you made me"... Okay, I said. And replied," so you put a big piece of gum in YOUR hair. Yes, she replied. Think she has it a little backwards, but that's okay. Better her hair than mine.!. Needless to say, she wasn't happy as we drenched her hair with olive oil and peanut butter, trying to savage any hairs possible. We ended up cutting a few hairs (to the scalp) in the front, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Hopefully she learned something from this.... other than to use peanut butter on your hair! That might be the next EXPERIMENT : 0
